Mass Effect 2 is a fantastic game with a lot of redeeming qualities that make it one of the best games of all time. However, there's always been a small section of the game that has always confused me, and today, we blow this case wide open as we discuss what the hell happened here?

Some things in games are overlooked, or you must suspend your disbelief at times to continue following the narrative or accept that certain things happen as they may. Close to the end of ME2, this foes completely by the wayside in favor of ratcheting up the action. I never understood why they did it this way.
