Three Different Adventures On This Incredible Seed: BALATRO
13Now that Gold Stakes difficulty has been thoroughly beaten, I wanted to try out some mods and some seeded runs to see what kind of crazy stuff we can cook up in this game. In this video, we explore the seed "BALATRO" (literally the name of the game) using the Soul website by mathisfun (https://mathisfun0.github.io/The-Soul/) and find three strong routes to getting a lot of points. In the first part, we use the classic Baron/Mime combo. In the second part, we use the Showman to find multiple Hanging Chads and Photographs. In the third part, we use Pareidolia and a Negative Trading card to get a very large Canio, alongside Glass Cards, DNA, and Oops All Sixes. The overall point of this video is that there are often many different paths to victory on White Stakes difficulty and that you can pivot from Chips to Mult in Plasma Deck in many different ways.
We also used the Saturn mod by OceanRamen (https://github.com/OceanRamen/Saturn) to use x16 speed in some circumstances. Highly recommend this quality of life mod when doing longer runs with lots of money generation!
