Three Dirty Dwarves - Sega Saturn - Intro and Gameplay Stages 1 & 2 with bosses [720p PAL 50fps]
Gameplay of the first two stages and bosses, one of the oddest names for a video game ever, Three Dirty Dwarves is a cartoon style scrolling beat'em up. Graphically it looks amazing with a unique art style and animation that still holds up even now. The game has a bit of a cult following and the online prices seem to be going up all the time. However it's not actually that good a game, the set pieces are great, but the levels are often too long and there is very little in the way of combat moves. The game can also be finished in under an hour and has nothing in the way of extra content or secrets. Its saving grace is the three player mode and the fact that the game has a great sense of humour. If it had a bit more content it could have been something very special as it stands it's a decent game with excellent graphics, just not a great one. The boss battles are worth taking a look at however as they show some really unique designs, the gym house at the end of the video is a lot of fun to fight.
Note the video fault on the right of the opening intro that appears is actually a bug with the PAL Saturn release of Three Dirty Dwarves.
Three Dirty Dwarves is not currently available on any other format, there was a USA only PC release of the game back in 1996 however it appears not to work with modern operation systems and is in fact harder to find that the Saturn version.
