THROWBACK THURSDAY: UEFA Champions League Final 1995 - Ajax vs AC Milan
4AC Milan were the underdogs twelve months prior, playing Johan Cruyff’s Dream Team in the 1994 Champions League final. They were back in the following year’s final with Fabio Capello, who had Franco Baresi and Alessandro Costacurta back from suspension and were in a stronger position. They faced Louis Van Gaal’s Ajax side. Ajax were a young side, with just a couple of players under the age of 25, with teenager Patrick Kluivert on the bench.
