TI-BASIC - Counting to 1,000 (TI-99/4A) (Classic99 Emulator)
A TI-99/4A counting to one thousand (1,000) in TI-BASIC, via Classic99 emulator.
Doing a rough estimate on this, it would take the TI-99/4A 23.7 years to reach 4,294,967,296 (2^32). I'm not sure what integer value is the maximum before the floating point accuracy comes into play, but it lasts to at least 8,589,934,592 (2*2^32), see http://youtu.be/_0W_ie4vQP4, which would take ~47.4 years to reach!
2015-MAR-06 UPDATE: In this video, http://youtu.be/B0Tsq5apaV4, I do a more accurate calculation based on a count to one million and based on the true TI-BASIC maximum integer, which is 9,999,999,999.
Classic99 (previously Ami99) is a freeware TI-99/4A emulator for Windows 2000 and up. System ROMs and many cartridges are INCLUDED under license from Texas Instruments:
