Tanktoberfest continues with our last entry for DVG's "Tiger Leader (2nd edition)" - this one is a playthrough of the first week of a campaign using all the expansions for the game (Blitzkrieg, Panzers!, WWII Tank Commanders and both Terrain packs).

The campaign chosen is the "Russia Stalingrad 1942" campaign - which uses winter terrain and is considered 'Standard' difficulty. I chose the 'Cut Off' operation which gives no SO points between weeks and seemed to me to be a good pairing with Stalingrad.

"Tiger Leader" is a solitaire game and those familiar with DVG's "Leader" series will find a lot of familiar mechanics here, tweaked for the land combat focus. Though the focus is on tanks, this is a combined arms game and features infantry and artillery as well as a whole lot of panzers.
