It's "Tanktoberfest" on Hexed & Countered and we continue our "Tiger Leader campaign (Poland 1939) with the second battle of the first week of a three-week campaign. Following on the heels of a successful first battle, the difficulty is ratcheted up for this fight as we encounter Polish armor for the first time.

This playthrough features the third game of Tanktoberfest - "Tiger Leader" from Dan Verssen Games. This is the 2nd edition of the game, originally released in 2015. The 2nd edition brings the game up to the standards set by its successor "Sherman Leader"

"Tiger Leader" is a solitaire game and those familiar with DVG's "Leader" series will find a lot of familiar mechanics here, tweaked for the land combat focus. Though the focus is on tanks, this is a combined arms game and features infantry and artillery as well as a whole lot of panzers.
