As he heads after the last time crystal, Cortez lands in the year 2315 where he takes form of Gretel Mk. 2, robot built by a corporation called UltraNet and sent into a robot factory started up by a derranged cyborg known as Machinist who is using the factory to mass-produce his personal army of robots which he plans to use in order to restart recently concluded Machine Wars, Gretel's objectives being to shut the factory down by destroying its power supply and assassinating Machinist in order to stop him for good...
