TimeSplitters: Future Perfect Walkthrough Part 10: Something To Crow About
1Cortez and R-110 manage to fight their way into UltraNet's main building, continuing their objective of locating Jacob Crow. As they descend into the building, Cortez is contacted by Anya who tells him that his mission has been updated and that he has been officially authorized to assassinate Crow due to Marines in 2401 having concluded that Crow's nearly two centuries worth of research into immortality have made him too dangerous to be left alive due to horrifying results of all of its known incarnations. As Cortez and R-110 fight their way through UltraNet's base, they find a terminal which R-110 hacks, revealing the full scope of the facility and something even more horrifying; A large underground chamber full of gestation pods that contain hundreds of forming TimeSplitters specimens. Realizing that Crow has created TimeSplitters as a next step in his pursuit of immortality, Cortez sets out to kill the unborn TimeSplitters by destroying the facility's power core before heading off to find and kill Crow in order to ensure that any potential for TimeSplitters' existence is extinguished. Eventually, Cortez fights his way to the mansion built within an underground passage below UltraNet's building where he finds another creature which appears to be a grotesque organic creature combined with advanced robotic parts and weaponry. After defeating the creature in combat and destroying most of its weapons, Cortez meets up with R-110 and prepares to head out with him. However, the creature rises back up and attacks the two before opening its robotic visor, revealing something even more horrifying; The creature is in fact Crow who has turned himself into a grotesque hybrid of TimeSplitter and robot. As horrified Cortez confronts him, Crow triumphantly claims that he has made himself biologically immortal and that TimeSplitters are in fact meant to be "a next step in evolutionary chain" and humanity's genetic superiors, unconcerned with the fact that his creations are actively working to exterminate humanity in the 25th century. Due to this, Cortez accuses Crow of collaborating with Khallos in a plot to wipe the humanity out, aware that members of Brotherhood Of Ultra Science came from his ranks. However, Crow reveals to have only used Khallos in order to acquire his henchmen which he then used as a mapower needed to locate and mine the time crystals on Urnsay. Realizing that everything Crow has done up to this point leads back to Urnsay in 1924, Cortez uses his temporal uplink to head back there with Crow, realizing Cortez's intention, heading after him in order to stop him...
