It's called the 'Cling'
It's a new form of drone the size of a shoe able to latch itself on anything with an electric system and either download or corrupt data within it. This drone was originally designed to provide 'on the fly' repairs & other support for Skell drones in the battlefield, but it didn't take much for an engineer to come up with the idea that it could also be used as a hacking tool.
Earlier concepts have been tested before. Sentinel used it on commercial planes to hack into their onboard computers and completely take over, the victims oblivious to what was happening to them until it was too late. The latest model, apparently, does the same, but with a wider target scope and more efficient at it.
Unfortunately, it didn't take Sentinel long to find a buyer. Pedro Gonzales, an up and coming Colombian Cartel, calling himself the next-gen Escobar and willing to crush his competition for good, has offered a large sum for a good stockpile, to which Sentinel are more than keen to accept. We cannot allow this deal to go through.
Ghosts, you primary objective is to assault and clear the Storage Depot where the first official Cling models are being kept. Once you've cleared the facility, our tech team will strip down the facility for any intel, data etc before destroying it all. You will then head to Whalers Bay Airport and steal the truck containing the cargo ready to be sold to Pedro's men, who are on their way to retrieve it. Hopefully this will put a serious dent on Sentinel's latest production and their relationship with their buyers.
We recommend a two-man sharpshooter team to do the job. Stealth and marksmanship should give you the upper hand.
