About 2 weeks ago the New York Times published a story about the current situation of Auroa. The journalist who wrote the article reported in detail about everything that has lead this far, including Cole Walker's hostile takeover with the help of his Wolves and Sentinel, Operation Citadel, Operation Greenstone, Stone, Bodark, the Strategist.. basically, she wrote the whole nine yards. This apparently had sent shockwaves throughout, as the situation until then was not really clear in the rest of the world. She opened the world's eyes to Auroa's disconnection to the world, while also fuming some other people's temper as well.
The FBI are still piecing together the events up to now, but apparently armed men stormed the journalist's house in NYC and kidnapped her only a day after the article was published. Her disappearance was only noticed the next day and she was officially declared a 'missing persons' only later that evening. By then, the kidnappers, who we now suspect were a team of Wolves, had already flown her out of the country. We've known the Wolves and Sentinel have a few transport networks throughout the states, which allows for some quick insertions and extractions. We believe one was used which saw her fly from Miami to San Juan, then Colombia and finally Auroa.
She's now being held at Camp Weasel, a Wolf's den. Intel tracked her down by intercepting the manifest online and getting help from a few sources from Liberty Airport, where she was last seen under the guard of 'heavily armed masked men'. Whatever plans they have for her cannot bode well for either the journalist, the NY Times and us, so we need to rescue her and well quick. You'll first however need to take out Bunker Edgehod South and Checkpoint Weasel Hotel. This will help clear your path from any unwanted surprised before you proceed with the rescue.
