Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint: The Perfect Storm
Briefing:
A group of Skell Scientists who specialise in viral infections have been ambushed by Sentinel soldiers. They were last reported heading north from Silent Mountain when they sent un urgent radio call for being ambushed by 'heavily armed soldiers'. Some of the scientists managed to escape, including their head Dr Ballard. He told us the unlucky ones were captured and are being questioned about their activities and his current whereabouts. Now, Dr Ballard assured us he would have given himself in for the safety of his workers had it not been for a major issue.
The vehicle they were using contains a series of newly developed, 'bio-Nano' tech. In layman's terms, they are types of viruses that are both biological and machine in structure. Its idea is to target malignant cells and tumours and slowing down and effectively eliminate any form of cancer in the body. However, he has also specified that this technology, in the wrong hands, could be developed and used as a bioweapon, that would effectively kill the enemy with no trace. Dr Ballard feels that as long as he's in hiding, Sentinel cannot proceed any further with the contents. Command is inclined to agree.
For the moment Intel isn't sure how much Sentinel are aware of their confiscated package and what they plan to do with it, however any scenario, including Sentinel just selling it in the black market, could lead to devastating effects, and Command cannot allow that. Taking out all the materials and those involved in its capture is our priority now.
Ghosts, you will head north of the Unknown Glacier and rescue the remaining biologists being questioned by Sentinel soldiers. You will then find and destroy the truck containing the viral contents; it was last spotted near the Dagger Lake. Finally, infiltrate Camp Black Widow, eliminate all the soldiers inside and tap into their database to eliminate any information regarding the captured vehicle and its materials. Sentinel may have tried to broadcast their findings, but the storm is working to our advantage as it seems to be hampering with their efforts to use comms.
However, Intel suspects the server could have a fail-safe trigger alarm, so expect enemy QRF once you're in.
Good luck, Ghosts!
