You all probably know that I'm not a big believer in having massive aesthetic appeal in the games that I get. I'm more about gameplay, theme, and fun. That said, I can certainly appreciate aesthetics, in this case looking at the games' actual boxes and how they enhance the experience!

The board gaming experience should be an entire... thing that we all get to do. For me, the experience is the entirety of going from shelf through final scoring, especially when I'm playing a new game. One thing that I've not seen discussed too much has been how the actual board game box itself can play a role in the total experience. Fun designs, something that plays directly to the theme, and/or something that simply feels different can make a gaming experience that much better.
