Top 5 Set Collection Board Games
Time to get back to a basic, but fun, BG mechanic - the set collection. Whether cards, tiles, or anything else, you gotta collect 'em all! Be sure to check out my Patreon to potentially become a direct supporter - https://www.patreon.com/dannycgamingsci
Set collection as a game mechanic always feels like a bit of a base instinct type of gameplay - we as humans always want to have the most of some stuff, and always the best of it. Well, normally, anyway. Regardless, these types of games have some unique educational potential, as well, since they can be used to show kids how to look for sets and commonalities, not to mention it fits nicely with other, grander mechanics that overarch.
As always, though, I want to know what YOU all think. What're your favorite set collection games, and why? Do you enjoy the mechanic in general, or is it something you don't care for? Let me know in the comments!
