Top 5 Solo RPG Board Games
67Between the Pandemic, needing to pay to play, empty LFG boards, and real life getting in the way, it seems impossible to play any sort of group RPG the last few years. While that is changing somewhat, there are some great solo board game options to look at!
Role playing games, at least on PC, are traditionally single player only (until the MMORPGs flooded in). In person, however, Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, GURPS, Call of Cthulhu, Shadowrun, and the like have ruled the tabletop for role playing. More recently, we've seen board games take a lot of the RPG mechanics and transcribe them into, well, a board game format. While these are still tabletop and group play-able, many of them are able to be played solo, so you can still get that RPG tabletop feel in a single player scenario. There are a lot of options, but here are my personal favorites!
