Ancient Evil is the best DLC map in Black Ops 4. Here’s five things it did right.

#5: Ancient Evil has the best trails of any Zombies map at this point in the franchise. You can pay for a trial, complete it to advance a reward, and if it’s a challenge you don’t want to do you don’t have to do it.

#4: Ancient Evil has incredible map design. The layout is extremely unique, and the attention to detail surrounding Greek mythology is a dream come true for history dorks like myself.

#3: Ancient Evil has the best wonder weapons in Black Ops 4. All four Gauntlets are extremely unique, viable, and visually stunning. Best of all, none are recycled elements from prior wonder weapons.

#2: Ancient Evil has the best storyline in the Chaos universe. This was the first time the community at large was interested in the storyline, as it serves as the great end to the first act of the story. It’s a shame we never got to see more.

#1: Ancient Evil has a beautiful theme and art design. It’s clear the developers had a real passion for Greek mythology, and it makes this map both gorgeous to look at and learn from.
