Tag der Toten is the final map in the Aether storyline. Here’s five things it did right.
#5: Black Ops 4 didn’t have nearly the same amount of exclusivity as previous games. This game only had a week of exclusivity with each DLC, whereas every prior game kept new maps exclusive to one platform for a full month after release.
#4: Black Ops 4 has a number of quality of life improvements. You can now see your health on screen, carpenters will repair your shields health, and max ammos will restock ammo in your gun’s clip just to name a few.
#3: Black Ops 4 improved the weapon customization and camo grind. Each weapon had attachments that better defined its role in the sandbox, and you could get the mastery camo for Zombies without having to play multiplayer like you did in Black Ops 3.
#2: Black Ops 4 has the best custom game options in the franchise bar none. You can select between four different difficulty settings and change just about everything you want before starting each match with mystery mutations. They also added several new gamemodes that could change the way you played each map.
#1: The Chaos Storyline is the riskiest, most ambitious endeavor Treyarch had ever taken with the Zombies mode. While its execution wasn’t perfect, it’s something a lot of people, myself included, would love to see return in a future game.
