NEW STRATEGY GAMES! Grand strategy, RTS, historical 4X games, traffic simulations, turn-based tactics, and Roman Empire city builders all feature in this video highlighting some of my top, most-anticipated strategy games releasing in the latter half of 2025, and into 2026. Most of the new games in this video are releasing in 2025, though there are a few question marks (EU5) or releases scheduled for 2026 (Star Wars Zero Company - Star Wars Xcom?).

Big feature titles like Anno 117 Pax Romana and Europa Universalis V are accompanied by lesser known indie titles, and some ambitious extras like Anvil Empire. Multiple games are sequels - Slay the Spire 2 will be much anticipated (great roguelike game, the original is brilliant on an iPad too).
