This test will demonstrate 3 runs with the first showing both your and the opponent’s team status after each turn for a gauge on how each spell card contributes to the grand scheme.

To clarify, this is a composition I conceptualised out of the blue and is still under construction due to the fact that my Shion hasn’t maxed out yet. I will upload a follow-up video about this composition when the poverty goddess has finally reached her peak, or her rock-bottom… I guess it depends on how you view it. The composition is not anything sort of a great achievement as it’s basically slapping together 2 broken units in a team and calling it a day, or is it? Well, to be honest, it took me an hour to get them working reasonably consistent as the first few runs were messy as hell due to a general lack of available story cards; you will see certain uncommon choices I made here.

The basis of this composition is based on the spell card order of both Shion and Tewi, S-A-S-A and A-S-A-S respectively with S for Single Target and A for All Targets with the aim of using sheer firepower to whittle down the fairies with only 2 spell cards from each unit on the first wave. With proper equipment, it might be possible to use this run with lower awakenings, although I prefer getting my friends to their top shape when I’m able to. The composition also uses certain less common story cards due to the fact that I am severely lacking in that department, thus having to resort to more extreme and unorthodox approaches.

Now, to the actual breakdown on this composition:

Tewi, on the one hand, is a yang damage-based debuffer with respectable damage output from her spell cards. Theoretically speaking, every spell card should be equipped with story cards having the Yang ATK 2 levels up (or 3 if you have some to spare); Ordinary Magician and My Girl’s the Cutest at max limit break is the optimal but Ordinary Magician is not easy to get, although you can farm My Girl’s the Cutest pretty easily so I guess there are some merits here; I have had 2 mlb cards already, although Youmu is using them for this very map in tandem with Marisa.

- Great Fortune Crest is a Sun Normal bullet spell card with All Targets, thus being equipped with Touhou LostWord (for Sun damage up) and Lively Temple Ground (for Normal Bullet damage up).

- Fluster Escape is a Star Light bullet spell card with Single Target, equipped with Fairies Under the Hot Sun for a quick pick me up Yang ATK Boost. This spell is mostly for cleaning up, so optimisation isn’t as important as it appears. You can use Doll Liberation Front for Light bullet boost, assuming you hadn't had parted way with it already like me.

- Ancient Duper should be equipped with Ordinary Magician thanks to the fact that the story card in question both boosts Yang ATK and Laser Bullet power, both of which are the composition of said Last Word: Sun/Star Laser bullet with All Targets.

Shion, on the other hand, is a yin damage-based debuffer with respectable damage output from her spell cards. Theoretically speaking, every spell card should be equipped with story cards having the Yin ATK 2 levels up (or 3 if you have some to spare); Overwhelming Firepower at max limit break is the optimal, but… it’s not a common card to have a hold on, right? Substitute with A Curious Festival as they mostly share the same effect, although OF also gives Shion some parts and parcels of Yin ATK.

- Super Poverty Bomb is a Fire Energy bullet spell card with Single Target, thus being equipped with Boo! (for Yin ATK up) and Heavenly Backup Dancers/Mini-Hakkero (for Fire damage up). Shion will always start the fight with this spell first, so it’s important to give it some cares to assist the bunny.

- Mischance Scatter is a Fire Energy bullet spell card with All Targets, equipped with Where the Wind Priestess Is for a decisively important Energy bullet power up. As with Tewi’s Great Fortune Crest, this spell is the cleaning tool of Shion, and must be optimised when possible.

- And, truth to be told, Shion’s Last Word isn’t as important as Tewi’s due to the fact that it is Single Target. Equipping it with Overwhelming Firepower or Boo! for the Yin ATK boost or any story cards with Sharp or Fire bullet boost as substitutes. It can annihilate Lily in one fell swoop, quite literally if you consider the animation, so it will help with entertaining purposes I suppose.

The concept is similar to other compositions: Obliterate each wave of the fairies in 2 spells for each unit if possible, especially on the first wave. The second wave will have the Moon fairy and sometimes the Void fairy survive, but Shion and Tewi can cut those loose ends singlehandedly. The final wave is where the fun boils down to: Cirno and especially Lily receive a nuke-ton of debuffs and… well… be eradicated right after. I feel sorry for them, especially having read the story behind the battle…

Why did I pick Shion and Tewi? Because I want to make a debuffer team, lol.
