Alien Syndrome, part of the massive line-up of Arcade hits from SEGA back in the 80's. The game was ported to the SEGA 8-BIT Master System (Mark III in Japan) and it retained the same gameplay formula from the original arcade but other than the main gameplay, everything else in the design was very different (from the arcade and Tengen's NES port). Due to the limitations of the 8-Bit console the levels were designed more like the dungeons of Legend of Zelda. The level design was good and creative using elements from the arcade and the bosses, though they're all the same bosses, fights are actually better and more interesting than in the arcade. The ambient music was the aspect that suffered the most from this port but the game itself still holds up surprisingly well.
