Train Simulator 2019: The (Bal) Moral of the Story Is..........
.......non-existant, because there isn't really a moral to this video.
This is simply me pottering about on a layout called 'Queens Quarter to Balmoral', which was made by Shini and is available on Train Simulation New Zealand:
http://www.tsnz.co.nz/index.php
We take the WB locomotive - with a short goods train in tow - on a run from Queens up to Balmoral. Once there, we turn the engine on the turntable and couple up to the other end of the train. Then it's down to the little wharf, where we drop off the wagons. This video ends with me driving the WB away from the wharf and into the engine shed.
Also seen in this video are two A&G Price shunting locomotives. One of them is TR 701, while the other isn't a TR, and just carries the number 119. Both locomotives are preserved. TR 701 can be found in Feilding, while Price No. 119 is at the Plains Railway near Ashburton.
I must stress that Shini played no part in my decision to feature this route in a video. This was entirely my idea. In fact, I helped him - in a small area - with making a few tweaks to the route. Which is weird, because I can't build Train Simulator routes for sh**.
