In the third episode of this very purist-friendly series (#sarcasm), we find ourselves at Lostwithiel station in Cornwall, with Adams Radial Tank No. 30584 - of all engines. We use her to take a short train of china clay wagons down the branch to Fowey, stopping just in front of a Class 03 diesel shunter. A passenger train - hauled by a Class 42 - turned up at Lostwithiel just before we left.

The specific Class 03 that was at Fowey today was 03066, the same one that I drove on the Holyhead Breakwater Railway the other day. The real 03066 is preserved at Barrow Hill Roundhouse, a far distance from Cornwall.

The route is called China Clay for Export. It was made by Creative Rail and is available either on their website or on Steam. I bought the Steam version. As for the Adams Radial Tank, she was made by - and is available from - Digital Traction.
