Train Simulator 2020 | Hunslet Austerity (J94) on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway
Today we will be returning to a TS route that I've had since December 2013. The Isle of Wight was the first DLC I ever bought for this game.
Our engine for this run is one of the semi-famous Hunslet 'Austerity' 0-6-0 saddle tanks, specifically WD192 'Waggoner'. This engine is preserved on the Isle of Wight in real life, and she was one of the Austerities that worked on the Longmoor Military Railway.
Waggoner's little adventure starts in the shed at Havenstreet, the headquarters of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway. We start by moving the engine out of the shed and over to the sidings where some ex-LBSCR Stroudley coaches are waiting. These coaches are in Southern Railway green, hence the 'ex-LBSCR' bit.
After coupling to the coaches, we have to take them into the platform and run-around. Then we will take the train to Wootton - the western terminus of the line - and run around yet again. Once this is done, we have to take on passengers and run bunker-first back along the line to Smallbrook Junction, where we will end the video.
