Kokoro is one of the only viable Plus Disk attackers for the Crystal Guardian. Almost none of the other PD characters have a CLD or NTR nuke and while some characters can gain a CLD/NTR element attack by using Swordmaster and Archmage, none of the Plus Disk additions have the passives or stats to the use them well. While most of the PD cast is still valid as support characters, you only have two real attacking options: Kokoro and Mamizou. I'll get to Mamizou later, but Kokoro is... alright.
Unlike most characters I've shown off, Kokoro's own passives aren't very impressive. She lacks any real damage boosting passives, which even someone like Kogasa has. The only things Kokoro herself can do is increase her stats with her Anger Mask and to try and max out her two attacking stats (because her WND/NTR nuke, Worrisome Man of Qi, has a composite formula). I guess she also has Invigorated Kagura Lion but it's not a practical option in harder fights (it gives her Fighting Spirit, but she has to use it five turns in a row. It also clashes with her Emotion Mask gimmick since she'll want to Concentrate afterwards for the MP regen).
A good chunk of the 700K-800K damage you see here is from the power of teamwork (aka Suwako and Satori's damage boosts). Suwako provides 30% extra damage to all NTR attacks while Satori provides 24% extra damage when hitting weakness. Aya's Strategist class is also providing an extra 10%. I never checked to see her normal pre-boost damage, but you can probably imagine it's much lower than what's in the video. I'm not trying to single out Kokoro for this, every character is relying on extra boosts. I'm just saying that that you can't just drop Kokoro into any party and expect to do the same damage.
Gambler is also an option for Kokoro. I think it might even allow her to break 1M, but the drawback is that her nuke will cost 16MP, and at this level she only has 24 MP. You can swap her back out to regen her MP but you will have to wait for a second (maybe even a third) Dark Star to finish the job.
Most players won't be using Kokoro for this fight (since they won't be using edited saves) but I don't know if I'd recommend Kokoro. I think she's actually pretty decent for Main Game (she has nice stats and WMoQ is very good due to the composite formula and novel multi-element targeting), but I hear she's not as impressive for the Plus Disk content...
