0Trash Heart is a metroidvania with some soulslike aspects (but no corpse runs). It is certainly imperfect, but it managed to hold my interest regardless, and I managed to complete it, which gives you an idea of how forgiving it is (I don't generally play soulslikes).
Enemies feel needlessly tanky and I felt more likely to die to bosses due to issues with game mechanics than because of legitimate mistakes.
The game has some neat ideas, but also some weird UI design decisions and maybe a few glitches. Hopefully some of the less-intended glitches get ironed out before release. I'm definitely interested to see the full game world and help all of the little robots.
