Now that Next Fest has rolled around, it's time to play the new demo, as opposed to the 2-year-old one I played last week.

The DKC2-inspired core mechanics remain pretty consistent with the previous demo, but there is a really neat full-blown world map now, which comes with a couple new levels, including at least one secret exit and an unlockable extra level (which kicked my ass). This version expands the lore a bit too, introducing more NPCs in the process. Menus have also been further expanded and improved.
