Blast Rush LS provides an interesting spin on a shmup, though I wouldn't call the end result extremely enjoyable. The premise is your "bombs" are your main weapon... but really, they're more like subweapons. And some ships' bombs provide far more survivability than others.

There's a variety of game modes though, including the original Blast Rush Classic and a handful of bonus modes (one of which is severely problematic and maybe also buggy), so if you do enjoy it, it has plenty of content.
