Despite it being set to hard mode, there hasn't really been anything that challenges the party. It doesn't help that I play as a tank that gets aggro on me while the other two pop off. Angela especially. If the player controls her you get access to nukes and can spam them especially if Duran is taking enemy aggro. on the other hand, letting the CPU take Angela over is not bad option as you can ensure she is topped off in health while you pressure the enemy. This applies in boss encounters as well.
All the same this game is a gem and I'm glad I had the chance to play it. Still I have to wonder how the SNES version played. As of recording, the last video for Trials of Mana has finished and now I'm moving on to the next game. I'll post an update on the community board later this week expanding on my thoughts for future updates.
