Soldiers from 20 Armoured Brigade who were first to go on Operation Herrick 15 have become the first to return home to their loved ones.

Families and partners of the 109 soldiers from B Company, Fifth Battalion The Rifles greeted them as they arrived at Allen Brooke Barracks by bus direct from the airport.

Members of the rear party and previously returned troops lined their route back into their loved ones arms.
