TriGunXSword's How not to Dark Souls: The Second Attempt Playthrough part 10 - Gaping Dragon
1Probably should have chosen a shorter series name, mostly went with this because of how shit I played the first few sessions. In any case there's only a couple bosses left I want to do before Sen's Fortress, starting with Gaping Dragon. He's not so bad of a fight honestly, it's more of an endurance match than anything as far as trying to fight without making mistakes. The other boss I'll tackle is Moonlight butterfly, who's more of a joke than anything to be honest but he can still prove quite deadly if you're bad at rolling or blocking. For the most part though you can easily block or dodge most of his attacks and take very little damage, so little you can probably outheal any chip damage that hits through your blocks. The main reason to bother with this boss isn't the souls, but the divine ember he's guarding at the top of the tower. Divine weapons will help quite a bit later on in the game, but they aren't necessary for game completion.
