TriGunXSword's How not to Dark Souls: The Second Attempt Playthrough part 16 - New Londo Ruins
1So before I head over to New Londo, there's a ring I must acquire to access the area's boss. Unfortunately, the current owner of said ring doesn't really want to part with it so I guess I'll have to fight this dog. Sif is probably one of the most memorable fights in this game, but he's not that tough. He's got a few wide sweeping sword swings that aren't too bad to doge, hell you can dodge most of his attacks by just being underneath him. That being said he can hit pretty hard so as usual just get good at rolling and you'll be fine.
As for New Londo itself, it's a flooded shithole filled with ghosts that are unharmable without a transient curse active. Because those are in limited supply, if you run out you're gonna have a very bad time as you'll see here. I'm sure there's a better way to get up that ladder but I haven't found it so I just kite the ghosts around until it works out for me. The Estoc is really not helping in these group encounters.
