I'm sad to admit that I never played through the complete game on the PS3. Once the trophies were earned (around Chapter 7) I stopped playing the game. This version however, requires a full playthrough of every level including the DLC levels from the PS3 version. The gameplay is identical to the previous version so there was a feeling of comfort and familiarity for me.

Story
-------------------------------
There was a nice story to this game. It is presented through a narrator and graphical artwork during the loading screens between chapters. There is nothing in this story that will knock your socks off, but it is interesting enough and definitely adds to the experience.

Difficulty
-------------------------------
In contrast to the PS3's version, this game has some fairly challenging sections. There are 3 difficulties to choose from: Easy, Normal and Hard. In addition to these, there is a mode, Hardcore, that you can enable. This changes the game completely; instead of having unlimited lives (by going to the nearest checkpoint orb), you now only get 1 life per character per checkpoint. If you pass by a checkpoint and didn't need to "revive" someone, it still counts as used up so you can't go back to it if one of the characters dies. You will need to play fairly cautiously and have decent knowledge of the levels to succeed.

Multiplayer
-------------------------------
GLITCH WARNING! If you play multiplayer online or offline, you risk corrupting your save file. While this doesn't affect gameplay at all, it does affect whether or not you will get the :gold: Walk in the Park trophy. If your save gets corrupted, you will not be able to earn the Hardcore trophy on that save file. You will need to start a new save file (thereby losing all your upgrades) - which happened to me :(

The multiplayer is fairly standard. You can do local or online coop play. This can be pretty fun; I played with ChaoticDoomOfBob (online) a bit as well as my brother-in-law (local) and had some pretty good fun just goofing around.

Trophies
-------------------------------
PS4's version of this game didn't vary much from the PS3 version except the trophy requirements. There are many more trophies this time around. All trophies can be done solo, but quite a few of the novelty trophies are easier with multiple people. It will take a bit longer, but I highly recommend doing 2 playthroughs (avoiding any multiplayer) to get all the trophies. All XP orbs can be obtained very easily solo if you play on easy and set the options to "levitate all". You can simply fly around each level collecting everything.

Platinum Difficulty: 7/10
Overall Enjoyment: 7/10
