Turn Off the Talking Voice in iPhone Settings (Voice View)
The "talking voice" on your iPhone is likely VoiceOver, an accessibility feature that reads on-screen elements aloud. To turn it off in iPhone Settings, follow these steps:
Using Settings:
Open Settings - Accessibility - VoiceOver.
Toggle the VoiceOver switch to Off.
Note: If VoiceOver is active, you may need to double-tap each selection instead of a single tap to navigate.
Using Siri:
Activate Siri by saying “Hey Siri” or holding the Side button (or Home button on older models).
Say, “Turn off VoiceOver.” Siri will disable it instantly.
Using Accessibility Shortcut:
If VoiceOver was enabled via a shortcut, triple-click the Side button (or Home button on older models) to toggle it off.
To confirm or set this shortcut, go to Settings - Accessibility - Accessibility Shortcut and ensure VoiceOver is selected.
