To add a Google account to an iPhone 16 for Gmail and Contacts, follow these quick steps:

Using Settings:
Open Settings - Mail - Accounts - Add Account.
Tap Google and enter your Gmail address and password.
If prompted, verify with two-factor authentication (e.g., code or Google prompt).

Toggle On for Mail and Contacts (and optionally Calendars or Notes). Tap Save.

Using the Gmail App (for Email Only):

Download the Gmail app from the App Store.
Open it, tap Sign In, and input your Gmail address and password.
Grant permissions. (Note: Contacts sync requires Settings, not the app.)
