Turrican II : The Final Fight (Amiga) Playthrough / May not be final but it is full-scale revenge !!
3Turrican II : The Final fight (1991) returns again from the wings of factor 5 studio. And, of course, it is once again a great game for a system of which Amiga players need not be ashamed. It is by far the best of the trilogy in terms of music, Chris Huelsbeck has created something special here. In general, the game is improved in almost every way compared to the original ....., but in relation to the previous installment it leaves a certain deficiency. The game has been simplified in some respects, and I personally find that this was not necessarily a good thing. They took away from the main character 2 special weapons such as mines and grenades from the first part of the game , where mines were rather moderately useful so grenades were very useful in difficult situations. Instead we got a strange special move that turns us into a sphere flying around the level and shooting in all directions .... as for me it is almost useless. The graphical environment of the levels is very uneven. Where some of them look really decent and detailed, so the rest are very repetitive and not very interesting. The bestiary has been slightly improved but is still not very convincing. It's nice that flying levels have been added to enrich the gameplay. In them, we are flying in a spaceship according to the genre of horizontal shooters (the so-called Shmups). Overall, I prefer the first part but only a little, because there are not so many differences between the two. And somehow the first one was a more satisfying game. Still highly recommended.
