Ninja Gaiden (Sms) Playthrough / Ninja Gaiden from another mother. Different but really good.
Ninja Gaiden (1992) by Tecmo, has been released only in the PAL region because support for the Sms console has already been discontinued in Japan and North America. It's a shame because they really missed a good game. Ninja gaiden originally originated from the Nes console, where three parts were produced. We were rather used to a super natural storyline full of mutants, monsters magic and evil trying to take over the world. Here, on the other hand, it's completely different , I would even say that it's the Ninja Gaiden version of the Japanese stereotype. Why? Because It is applied here almost everything related to Japan. Here we have samurai, sumo, yakuza members, other ninjas , kabuki dancer , Geisha, a lot of Japanese architecture and even something like Mount Fuji. We fights here mainly with humans and animals. That's why it's strange for me to compare this game to what was released on the Nes, because it's so different from those previous games. Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily, I don't mind that the game put a completely different spin on the brand. It's refreshing and fascinating at the same time because gameplay-wise it appears almost identical. With small differences like swapped power ups and added walking while crouching. The story isn't very well directed or engaging, which is a shame because that's what drew you in previous games. The music is there, but I don't like it too much, in general the Sms sound chip doesn't make very pleasant sounds, that's my opinion. But the main thing is that the game is dynamic and enjoyable. If anyone has this console this is a must have title.
