[ENG] Perman :Enban wo Torikaese!! (NES) Playthrough/Different than any platformer for the system.
Perman :Return the Space Saucer (1990) by Tamtex is a platformer that is barely discussed, due to the fact that it is a game that was only released in Japan. it can be understood because the language barrier is too great. The game was apparently developed under the license of a certain anime that I had not heard of or encountered at all. This does not change a fact that after uploading an English patch the game turns into one of the most original platformers on the system. This game is very well designed and balanced, not very challenging, but its original. Why? Because boss fights are played on a board game basis. We throw the dice and by the drawn number of eyes we move around the board. Whoever gets to the goal first wins. Along the way we gain various bonuses that add variety to the whole experience. This is definitely an innovative solution and something I've only encountered in this game..... so we can say that it is in a way unique. This is one of those games that I was exposed to on some pirate cartridge when I was a kid. However, it was quickly swapped for another one due to the language barrier. I remember that I tried to search for it by typing my memories in some gaming forums on google and unfortunately found nothing. I even concluded that it was probably just a dream that I accidentally remembered and just made a laughing stock of myself by asking about something that doesn't exist. Quite by chance, I was recently watching shorts of games on the nes and was immediately struck by the board game-like boss fight. This was the game I remembered correctly, and in the end it did not turn out to be just a false memory. So many years of searching and finally success, a wonderful feeling. Highly recommended.
