Twinkle Star Sprites (γγ£γ³γ―γ«γΉγΏγΌγΉγγ©γ€γ, Tinkuru SutΔ Supuraitsu) is a competitive shoot 'em up game developed by ADK and published by SNK for the Neo Geo Arcade System and later ported to the Neo Geo Home Console. It was originally released in arcades world wide in November 25, 1996.
In Twinkle Star Sprites, players engage in a unique multiplayer shoot 'em up experience. It combines elements of a vertically scrolling shooter with a versus puzzle game. Two players face off on separate screens, and defeating enemies on one screen sends attacks to the opponent's screen, creating a competitive and fast-paced gameplay experience.
The game's soundtrack was composed by Hideki Yamamoto, Hiroaki Kujirai, and Hiroaki Shimizu.
