5This is my first time playing Two Crude Dudes on the Sega Genesis.
Originally a 1990 arcade game known as Two Crude which was made by Data East as a follow-up to 1988's Bad Dudes vs DragonNinja, and was eventually ported to the Sega Genesis by ISCO & Opera House (the same company that Sega originally outsourced their Genesis port of Street Fighter II: Champion Edition [intended to be a standalone port of Champion Edition much like the PC engine] to, before it got scrapped in favor of Special Champion Edition).
However, on the Sega Genesis, it was retitled Two Crude Dudes. The Mega Drive version was also well-received. Mega magazine placed the game at #37 in their Top Mega Drive Games of All Time. MegaTech magazine said it was "the first Megadrive beat 'em up that comes close to rivalling Streets of Rage.
