4Farmer is one of the new crew you can hire in the new Foundation Update of No Man’s Sky. He will allow access to more rare materials that should normally not be found during exploring in the un-known planets of No Man’s Sky. But still we need to hire him and also visit the Atlas emissary ?

Welcome back everybody! To Let's play No Man's Sky Gameplay, part 7. In the previous episode of No Man's Sky we managed to get a new working station for the base and we started the quest for ht e new farmer worker station as well! But for that we need the Gek Charm! Those can be found only on Gek systems, you can buy it from the space station in No Man's Sky or you can try to buy it from other space travelers in the space station or in the trading depots on planets but as well – those planets needs to be in Gek systems. The next quest from the constructor will be for us to gather Mordite that can be harvested only from killing space animals. So there is no other way to obtain this resource to finish the constructor quest. You can try to buy it as well from the space station. With the farmer working station unlocked we can start to build our first farms! The farms in No Man's Sky work as a money mines, You plant and harvest plants that have no other use then just pure trade, with the money obtained from the farming you can later buy Battleships, new spaceships, more backpack inventory or just buy resources from the traders and from the space stations that are located all over the world of No Man's Sky. We build a new room for the farmer and as soon as we do we need to look for the farmer, the farmers can be found only on the space stations, most of the times in the Gek controlled systems! With the farmer in our base we can start doing quests for him as well. The Quests for the farmer will reword you with new types of seeds you can plant in the base garden or farming zone! The higher and more advance the quest from the farmer the more worth it will be for us to sell it for the space stations or the space traders! While I was not recording the No Man's Sky I was able to gather more credits to buy a new space ship, bigger a bit faster with better shields! While we wait for the farmer to set up his office and for the plants to grow in the base we can departure in to the new region – we have atlas interference and the atlas will guide us in to the center of the galaxy! The Atlas itself have its own type of space station that we can visit, While inside the atlas station we can learn new words. The Only propose of the atlas stations in No Man's Sky is to teach us about other civilizations words and also will help us with teaching us about making fuel for the warp engine for flying from one system to another. Our first quest from the farmer will be to grow a Sac Venom that can be only obtained only from bloodsbane, growing plants in No Man's Sky in our base we need to build first a Hydroponic Tray that can be gained from the farmer. This is the only device that will allow us to grow all of the plants that the farmer will teach us! Also the Hydroponic Tray from No Man's Sky will grow only one plant at a time! So You can easily change the type of growing plant but you cant plant more then just one per Hydroponic Tray. Each of the plants planted will take some time to grow to its full and be ready for harvesting – remember tho harvesting is not automated you need to do it manually!
