Welcome to ANOTHER series of videos from @CaptChang Presents... UBOAT! I've actually owned UBOAT since its early access days, but never really tried it. Now that it's left early access, it's time to give it a try!

I attempt to do my sixth mission: Tonnage War (technically, 8th war patrol)

Thumbnail: there's the port gun we're looking for...

00:00 Start Game

Let's continue... then check supplies.

02:15 Departure

Let's leave for our patrol area...

03:40 Change of Patrol Area

BdU decided to move our patrol area to the south...

05:00 New Orders: Scout Hartlepool

The scouting mission takes priority... Find the 3 separate gun emplacements via periscope observation in Hartlepool.

07:36 Arrived, slowly closing in

Only later did I realize I should go "red light" for better night vision, but we slowly crept along at periscope depth and looked for the guns. Found one, but it took a while to find the other two.

23:41 All guns found

Let's get out of here!

24:49 We're home!

We got new decorations, refueled, and got ready for the next mission. However, we will pick that in the next episode.

I actually haven't played a WW2 sub sim for a VERY long time. Last one I've played was Sid Meier's Silent Service (the original, not II). Yes, it's been that long. I actually never played the Silent Hunter series either. This would be an interesting experience as I tend to play more "modern" sub sims.

I'll take it easy on myself and go with the "entertaining" setting instead of hardcore.
