– GAME OVERVIEW –
Undake30 Same Game for the Super Famicom is a puzzler. The game was developed by by Hudson Soft (now Konami Digital Entertainment – a company within the Konami Group) and published by Nintendo. From January 16 to February 20, 1995, it was displayed in Japanese stores and awarded as prizes to winners of gaming tournaments.
• Undake30 Same Game is a version of Kuniaki Moribe's 1985 tile-matching puzzler, Chain Shot, also known as SameGame (さめがめ). Similar to the card game Monte Carlo, it features graphics from Super Mario World (スーパーマリオワールド: スーパーマリオブラザーズ4, lit. Super Mario World: Super Mario Bros. 4) (1990).
◦ The game takes place on a large playing field containing a randomly arranged assortment of Coins, Fire Flowers, Mario heads, Super Mushrooms and Yoshi Eggs.
• In Undake30 Same Game, players have the option of using either a controller or a Super Famicom Mouse.
• A standard release of Undake30 Same Game was available for download on the Nintendo BS-X Satellaview (BS-X) during the Undake30 (UNDAKE30) radio program. Kazuko Sugiyama – the voice of Bomberman – starred in it.
◦ The program aired from August 28 1995, to June 1, 1996.
