In this video, we explain the basic underpinning of taxonomy on Hydaelyn. Three regnum and twelve classes, this primer seeks to help take a wide and wild world of creatures and make a form of sense out of it that you might use in your adventurers. What is a Seedkin? why do some elementals looks like people? and if a Chocobo cant fly why is it a Cloudkin? All this and more are answered within.

Note: Though the vast majority of chimera were created by Allag there are cases such as Calofisteri that were the result of other means.

Certain mounts being able to fly is a noncanonical aspect of the game such as Adamantoise or regular Chocobo.
