Unexpected Twist in Invincible Season 3
Ross Marquand, renowned for his voice work in "Invincible," has shared an exhilarating production update on the highly anticipated Season 3 of the Prime Video series. Since the animated series began, Marquand has lent his voice to various characters, including The Immortal and Rudy Connors.
During his recent appearance at Galaxy Con, Marquand confirmed that the recordings for Season 3 of "Invincible" are nearly complete, just over three months after the conclusion of the last season, which consisted of eight episodes. He believes that the superhero series could return much sooner than expected. In fact, Marquand mentioned that they are almost done with Invincible Season 3.
Although he refrained from revealing too much, he hinted that the new season will probably be released early next year.
Marquand's recent statement aligns with showrunner Simon Racioppa's previous comments regarding the planned release window for Season 3 of "Invincible." Unlike the two-year wait between the end of Season 1 and the premiere of Season 2, Racioppa assured fans that the next chapter would be released much sooner. He also confirmed that while he can't specify an exact release date for Season 3, it will not have the same long interval between Seasons 1 and 2. Racioppa added that Season 3 is well advanced, echoing Marquand's update.
According to Kirkman, Season 3 of "Invincible" will feature episodes that feel like season finales. He believes there are many pieces put in place in Season 2 that they will build on in Season 3. Kirkman mentioned that the show will expand in various ways and go to some crazy places, while also picking up everything left hanging in Season 2. All the emotional stories from Seasons 1 and 2 will continue. They aim for every episode of Season 3 to feel like a finale, making it an absolutely massive season with many unexpected surprises.
"Invincible" is based on Robert Kirkman's graphic novel series for Image Comics.
