Uninvited hides references to Shadowgate and Deja Vu - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts
In Uninvited for the NES, you can find hidden references to other games by ICOM Simulations, such as Shadowgate and Deja Vu.
All three of these games were originally part of the MacVenture series, which debuted in 1985 for the Apple McIntosh computer. A few years later they were ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System and published by Kemco.
At one point you'll spot a phonograph (or is it a gramphone? The game calls it both) in the room where you might see the dancing gremlin. If you USE the phonograph, you'll hear a warped and distorted version of a song from Shadowgate on the NES.
Furthermore, if you head to an eastern point in the maze (probably the most confusing part for someone casually playing Uninvited) you will find a tombstone that reads "Ace Harding" who is the main protagonist of Deja Vu and Deja Vu II.
Thanks to Charles Kelley for showing me the music easter egg!

What are some other weird tricks in old games you know about? I want to make more of these quick shorts, so leave a comment to suggest more glitches, Easter Eggs, and weird things!
