Herrick 18 may not have started yet, but already units have begun to prepare for deployment in the autumn.

The 9th/12th Royal Lancers are hoping to return to Afghanistan this year forming the Brigade Reconnaissance Force.

For the last few weeks members of B Squadron have been in Cyprus revising their skills.
