There are concerns that Territorial Army numbers are shrinking - meaning it will be an uphill battle to achieve the 30,000-strong force wanted by the MOD by 2018.

The Times Newspaper claims 1,000 TA reservists are leaving each year and figures revealed to BFBS show that 33% of Territorials do not attend key training events.
