The Royal Navy is using a Norwegian Army base for extreme weather training.

Bardufoss has hosted the Senior Service for decades with Norwegian Liaison Officers assisting the exercise staff.

The facilities allow personnel to practice flying amphibious drills in a unique environment so they are prepared for any future operations in cold weather conditions.
