A small silent change occurred in the Unity license agreement that could have big ramifications for smaller developer. Going forward, developing for "Closed Platforms" such as Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and Stadia, will require a Unity Pro license (or a developer key from the console maker), regardless to revenue earned by the creator. This will impact a small subset of the developer community, but does make Unity a slightly less appealing engine for those just starting out.
