When Unity implemented the Unity Runtime Fee, they set of a tire fire of unprecedented proportions. Or did they?

I mean yes, they certainly set off a tire fire, perhaps the biggest I have ever seen before. But it is not as unprecedented as you think. In fact, back in 2019 they did a very similar mistake, they just handled it much, much better.
